LucasArts

Word on the street is that LucasArts was shut down today.

I have a lot of fond memories of playing LucasArts games.  I have a strong interest in how stories are presented in games, and this was always one of their great strengths.

Though the company seemed to lose its focus over the years, there have been so many great games to come from that studio.  From their many adventure games (The Monkey Island series, Sam & Max, Grim Fandango) to many great Star Wars games (Dark Forces, Jedi Knight), it was a great run.

Best of luck to everyone affected by this, and thanks to everyone who has invited us to explore their worlds and imagination.
